Alan Cooper was an interesting person.  I met Alan at the Student Government training conference in 1971 before we started our sophomore year.  He was president of the junior class.  George Sharp, a hypnotist, entertained at the training conference.  Alan was one of those who volunteered to be hypnotized.  George Sharp first told him that he was Elvis Presley, then he told him that everyone in the room were strangers to him.  Alan became very frightened and was immedietly awakened by the hypnotist. Later George Sharp came for an assembly at FVHS and hypnotized Patty Hefley, among others.  Perhaps Dave Kilpatrick will remember that incident. 

It wasn't clear to me when Alan joined our class, but he is listed on the graduation program as a graduate in our class of "74.
