I knew Leslie when she was still attending FVHS. She was kind, caring, loved the ocean and l enjoyed her company very much. I was going through some problems at home at the time and was reluctant to tell her what was wrong. She told me that she would always be there if l needed to talk. One time we went to Huntington Beach and she wanted to stay and watch the sunset. She never talked a lot but she said that she would never forget that day. Time can be fickle and it doesn't wait for anyone. I eventually moved out and went to college and Leslie and l drifted apart. Years later, l tried to locate her without success. It was only very recently l had found she passed away. I will never forget her good heart, her gentle nature, and her smile. Rest in Eternal peace my friend. My thoughts are with you always.
