John Wilson was very fond of reminiscing about his school days at FVHS and the friends he had made among his classmates.  With the advent of social media he became very proactive in reconnecting with former classmates that life, time and distance had caused to fade from the scene.  John would often facilitate the reconnection of other old friends that had lost touch with each other.  Through John's efforts I was reconnected with Craig Kodera and Mike Lucia for which I am eternally grateful.  Several times over the years John called to relay the sad news of a classmates passing and would make comment that he felt that these sad events should be recorded somewhere other than the collective memory of H.S. reunion attendees.  While sad it is altogether fitting that John Wilson was the first memorialized "In Memory" section of this site.  I know John would have loved this site and would have been a major contributor of information and getting others to join.  Rest in peace old friend your memory lives on. John was contributed a tremendous amount to our class and FVHS through his photo journalism.  Many, many of the photos in our yearbook and our school newspaper, Le Mot, were from John's eye and camera.
